Cost guides

What a website costs, by industry and by state.

Nobody likes "it depends" as an answer, so here are the numbers we actually quote from. The table shows published starting prices by project type. The guides below explain what moves the figure for your kind of business and what is different about your state, which is usually less than people expect.

Quick answer

Website projects from GEO Marketing Group start at $3,500 for a facelift of an existing site, $8,000 for a custom website, and $30,000 for a custom web app, with care plans at $99 - $299 per month. Every project is quoted to a written scope before work starts, and you own the finished site outright. The guides below break those figures down by industry and by state.

Published starting prices

Five project types, one way of quoting.

Starting prices are the published quote anchors. "Typically quoted near" is the planning midpoint most scopes of that kind land at, not a historical average and not a promise.

  • Every project is quoted to a written scope. These are published starting points, not a fixed quote.
  • You own the finished site, domain, content, and accounts outright, on every tier.
  • We measure visibility and inquiries, but rankings, traffic, and conversions are never guaranteed.

FAQ

Website pricing: common questions.

Why publish ranges instead of a single price?

Because a five-page site for a new cafe and a booking platform for a multi-location clinic are not the same purchase. The published figures are honest starting points and planning midpoints; the fixed number comes from a short conversation and a written scope. The ranges exist so you can plan before that conversation, not instead of it.

What is included in the price?

Design, build, launch, and handoff for the scope we agree on in writing, including on-page SEO basics, analytics, and the redirect work a relaunch needs. Hosting and ongoing care are a separate, predictable monthly cost through a care plan or on hosting you control. Nothing is padded in and nothing is added mid-project without a conversation.

Do you bill hourly?

No. Every project is quoted as a fixed price against a written scope, so the number you plan around is the number you pay. If the scope changes because you want something new, we price the change separately and you decide.

Want a fixed number instead of a range?

Tell us what you are building and roughly what it needs to do. We come back with a written scope, a realistic timeline, and a fixed quote. Projects start at $3,500.
