GEO Marketing Group is a web design & development studio based in Providence, Rhode Island, founded by Chris Skerritt. We design and build fast, modern websites, online stores, and web apps for businesses across North America - and back them with the marketing to fill them.
Why I built this
I'm Chris Skerritt, and I started GEO Marketing Group after watching too many local business owners get stuck with one of two websites: a dated, slow page nobody has the logins to anymore, or a DIY template they have outgrown that looks like a dozen of their competitors. Either way, it quietly costs them calls, bookings, and customers, because for nearly everyone, the website is the first impression now.
I build the kind of site a business is proud to send people to: quick to load, sharp on every phone, and clearly built to turn a visitor into a call, a booking, or a sale. Then, when it makes sense, I help fill it with local SEO and search visibility that bring the right people to the work.
I do that for one kind of client: real local businesses, restaurants and contractors, clinics and shops, studios and professional firms, who want a site that actually works and someone who will tell them the truth about it.

Design and engineering, under one roof
A lot of agencies design a site and hand the build off to someone else - or build a site that was never really designed. We do both. The same studio that lays out your type, color, and pages also writes the code that ships them, so nothing gets lost in translation and nothing comes back as a stock template in disguise.
That means we can take on the whole range under one roof: a brand-new website or a clean rebuild of a dated one, an online store, or a custom web app - booking systems, customer portals, dashboards, and calculators that go well beyond a brochure site. Where we work from
We're based in Providence, Rhode Island, and we work with businesses across the United States. New England is our home market and where we got our start, and today the studio runs remotely - by phone, video, and email - so we can do the same fast, modern work for a client in Texas or California as for one a few towns over. The home base stays in RI; the work travels anywhere it is a good fit.
